Projekt W bieli, niebieski, czerwony to kilkadziesiąt fotografii, które tworzą trzy części, nawiązując tym samym do filmowej trylogii Krzysztofa Kieślowskiego. Tytułowe barwy są tylko prezentacją emocji, ale nie mają odniesień do haseł rewolucji francuskiej. Mimo to wolność, o której wspomina Kieślowski, jest bardzo mocnym akcentem całego cyklu. Przestrzeń mieszkania, w której rozgrywa się akcja projektu, staje się pretekstem do pokazania ludzkiego życia. W oparciu o codzienny obraz bohatera, rysuje się bardziej psychologiczny niż estetyczny portret postaci. To świadectwo ulotności i próba uchwycenia emocji opisana bardzo uczuciowo za pomocą barw. Pierwsza część projektu W Bieli zrealizowana została w oparciu o tradycyjne czarno-białe materiały fotograficzne. W kolejnych częściach tryptyku pojawiają się barwy, które dość mocno podkreślają strukturę i kondycję postaci. Projekt jest osobistą rejestracją stanów i emocji na przestrzeni lat 2014-2017. Został zarejestrowany w technice tradycyjnej na materiale negatywowym barwnym i czarno-białym o wielkości negatywu 6/7 cm.

The project In White, Blue, Red features dozens of photographs. It consists of three parts inspired by Krzysztof Kieslowski’s film trilogy. The three colours are just a visualization of emotions, with no reference to the slogan of the French Revolution. Still, liberty as evoked by Kieslowski is a prominent motif throughout the cycle. The space of the apartment where the project takes place becomes a pretext to show human life. Based on day-to-day images, a psychological rather than aesthetic portrait of the subject is created. It is a testimony of transience and an attempt to capture the feelings, described very emotionally by colour. The first part of the project, In White, makes use of traditional black-and-white photography. The next two parts of the triptych have colours to emphasize fairly strongly the structure and condition of the subject. The project is a personal recording of states and emotions over the years 2014-2017. The project has been done in traditional technique using colour and black-and-white negatives, size 6/7 cm.

Joanna Chudy. Absolwentka Akademii Sztuk Pięknych w Krakowie 2002, Wyższego Studium Fotografii w Państwowej Wyższej Szkole Filmowej Telewizyjnej i Teatralnej w Łodzi 2009 oraz Akademii Sztuk Pięknych w Warszawie, gdzie uzyskała tytuł doktora 2013. Autorka 20 indywidualnych wystaw fotograficznych. Uczestniczka 30 wystaw zbiorowych w kraju jak i za granicą, m.in. w Paryżu, Berlinie, Warszawie i Sofii. Zajmuje się fotografią kreacyjną, prezentuje czarno – biały nurt fotografii klasycznej. Od 2014 roku jest członkiem ZPAF. Finalistka konkursu ShowOff w ramach Miesiąca Fotografii w Krakowie 2010, laureatka Grand Prix VI Warszawskiego Festiwalu Fotografii Artystycznej w 2010 roku. Stypendystka Ministerstwa Kultury i Dziedzictwa Narodowego w roku 2010 oraz Marszałka Województwa Śląskiego w roku 2011.

Joanna Chudy graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow (2002), the Photography Department at the National Film School in Lodz (2009) and the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw, where in 2013 she received a doctorate. Joanna was author of 20 individual photographic exhibitions. She participated in 30 group exhibitions, both national and international, including exhibitions in Paris, Berlin, Warsaw and Sofia. She deals with creative photography, using black and white classical photography techniques. She has been a ZPAF member since 2014.She was a finalist in the „ShowOff” contest organized as a part of Cracow Photomonth in 2010, and the winner of the Grand Prix at the 6th Warsaw Festival of Art Photography in 2010.In 2010 she was granted a scholarship from the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage and the Marshall of the Silesia Region in 2011.
